For Elverumsspillet, I've had the pleasure of illustrating a unique game board that represents the city's culture and business community. In this project, I've combined traditional watercolor techniques with modern digital processing in Procreate, resulting in a colorful and detailed map of Elverum. In addition to the map itself, the game board also features illustrations of landmarks, elements and buildings that characterize the city.
The Elverum game follows a Monopoly-like model, where players can buy shares in local companies. This promotes the city's business community, and also contributes to a unique gaming experience that is directly linked to Elverum. The game is available for purchase at Elverum Turn.
This project is part of a larger initiative where local illustrators and artists are engaged to design game boards for different cities and local businesses are encouraged to buy space on the game board, with the aim of supporting local activities and initiatives for children and youth through sales of the games.
