Type arbeid: Pattern design

For Tinkafu, a leading supplier of stroller accessories in Norway, I was engaged to design a triangle pattern for their classic and popular sunshade. Tinkafu's sunshades are well known for their functionality and quality, and the aim of this design was to add more design variants, but maintain the product's high quality.

The new pattern, which has colorful and playful triangles, gives the sunshade a fresh and modern look.

In collaboration with Stofflykke, a renowned store known for selling textiles in Norway, I had the opportunity to design a series of exclusive pattern designs with the lovely Moomin characters. The project required a balance between maintaining the classic expression of the Moomin figures and allowing my own expression to bloom.

In the project, I worked with licensed characters, which is both challenging, but also a lot of fun! The patterns I designed are colourful, playful and charming and perfect for various sewing projects, for both moomin-lovers and other sewing enthusiasts.

Cups and Flowers is a charming and "whimsical" pattern collection designed with kitchen textiles and kitchen ware in mind. The collection has five different designs that combine charming coffee cups and floral elements, designed to give a fresh and cozy touch to the kitchen.

Each design in the collection has different layouts and color combinations. From large, detailed cups on a playful dotted background to delicate floral motifs, every pattern finds its place in the collection. The color palette includes soft shades of green, pink and yellow, which together create a warm and inviting palette.

This collection is ideal for products such as kitchen towels, tablecloths and napkins. Cups and Flowers balances between artistic expression and graphic design, making it a breath of fresh air in the interior.

New Dawn is a modern and stylish pattern collection that combines abstract shapes and natural organic shapes in a calm color palette of coral, beige and brown tones. The collection has four different designs which together create a feeling of new beginnings.

The main pattern shows abstract shapes and architectural lines mixed with nature-inspired organic elements such as leaves and palms, creating an interesting visual contrast. The other patterns coordinate the main design perfectly with organic and abstract shapes and patterns.

Citrus Symphony is a pattern collection with six different designs with a citrus theme and nature-elements. The collection has patterns with large lemons surrounded by and florals leaves on a light background. The coordinating patterns feature smaller floral and leaf motifs as well as graphic elements in a matching color palette of yellow, green and turquoise.

This collection is well suited for spring and summer products, and gives a fresh and summery look to kitchen textiles or stationery.

Confetti Icecream is a colorful and playful pattern collection designed especially with children in mind. The collection has two patterns and a hero illustration that celebrates the joy of ice cream, with a playful expression.

The first pattern shows ice creams with different toppings and sauces on a dark background. Together with the word "yum" it creates a cheerful and fun expression. The second pattern is a coordinating pattern with confetti details on a dark background. The hero illustration is an ice cream cone on a warm yellow background. The collection is perfect for children's bedding sets, clothes and accessories.

The color palette has bright and warm tones of yellow, orange and pink, together with cool hints of blue and purple, which together create an inviting and fun expression.

La Dolce Vita is a mini pattern collection inspired by a trip to Tuscany and a visit to the Vignamaggio vineyard. Central to the design is a classic Piaggio Ape, known for its special shape and functionality in Italy.

The mini-collection contains two patterns and one hero-illustration: An illustration with the sweet Ape car loaded with flowers, and two patterns with variations and elements from the main illustration with the car and floral motifs. The color scheme is in warm tones of pink, yellow, orange and natural green, which reflect the vibrant and inviting landscape of Tuscany.

This range is designed to appeal to customers looking for patterns or illustrations with a bright and colourful, playful style, suitable for everything from children's products to interior products.
