ELEGANT

This collection of metal tin boxes is called “Elegant,” and the name truly fits. The collection features a more classic and refined expression, based on Mauds Manufaktur’s own design elements—which I also had the pleasure of creating.

The colors are deep and harmonious, and the patterns are floral and feminine in a calm, timeless way. It’s the kind of tin you’re happy to keep out—whether in your knitting bag or on the table—simply because it’s beautiful to look at.

These metal tins are perfect for storing small essentials like stitch markers, darning needles, and measuring tapes, and they fit beautifully into Mauds Manufaktur’s range. And even though they’re practical, it’s always a little nicer when useful things also happen to be lovely to look at, right?

RETRO SWIMMING LADIES

These illustrations were created for Mauds Manufaktur and have been used on small metal tins for knitting accessories. Mauds Manufaktur supplies knitting accessories to yarn shops across Scandinavia, so it has been a real pleasure to design and illustrate for Mauds.

The goal was to create a summer collection that feels light, colorful, and slightly retro—capturing that feel-good summer vibe. I illustrated retro-inspired women at the beach, knitting in their laps, with sunscreen nearby and beach towels beneath them. The collection is filled with a sense of nostalgia, bright colors, and plenty of summer atmosphere.

The idea is that these tins are not only practical, but also add a little extra joy to your knitting bag or craft space.

MEETING IN THE WOODS

This illustration, “Meeting in the Forest,” is created using a combination of watercolor, gouache, colored pencils (both regular and watercolor), and fineliner.

This illustration captures a gentle and curious meeting between a fox and a small mouse in glasses, carrying a large pine cone. With its warm, welcoming mood, it’s well suited for children’s books or puzzle illustrations. Careful attention to color and detail creates a playful, imaginative forest atmosphere that speaks to both kids and grown-ups.

CHRISTMAS PRODUCTS

I've had the pleasure of working with Panduro Hobby for a long time, where I've illustrated and designed a varied selection of their products for scrapbooking and card making. The products I'm showing here are designed specifically with Christmas in mind and all the products are made in larger, coordinated series that included stickers, paper, washi tape and other embellishments.

In the design process, I've been responsible for everything from concept development and color selection to the design of the product itself, as well as packaging and packaging design. I have worked carefully to ensure that each element harmonizes with the other products in the range, creating an inspiring and holistic experience for hobby enthusiasts.

My projects for Panduro Hobby are a good example of how I combine my passion for detailed illustration with functional and aesthetic design. I place great emphasis on creating products that are not only visually appealing, but also practical and user-friendly. Through this collaboration, I have had the opportunity to develop creative and colorful solutions that delight and inspire customers.

ILLUSTRATIONS AND PRODUCTS FOR JOURNALS

I've had the pleasure of working with Panduro Hobby for a long time, illustrating and designing a selection of their creative journals. These journals, often part of larger series, usually included coordinating stickers, paper, washi tape and pens. The design process usually consisted of everything from the design of the product itself, color schemes and packaging design. These projects are examples of different journals and accessories I have designed for the customer.

ILLUSTRATION FOR BOOK COVER

I had the pleasure of working with Fjellflyt on a book cover for a planner, inspired by nature and its calming influence. The project, called «Bokfreisting», was an exciting opportunity to combine colorful art with nature.

Fjellflyt wanted a cover that captured the feeling of longing for the mountains. Their specific wishes included a colorful drawing with elements such as mountain flora, and colors that reflect glacier water. I used the colors of mountain heather, goat's rue, dog biscuit, and other fantasy flowers and leaves to create a harmonious and calm illustration.

I used a combination of gouache and watercolor paint on paper, as well as Procreate, to achieve the desired result. After a few conversations and feedback from the client, I fine-tuned the design to make sure it matched their vision. The final book cover was a nice combination of nature's tranquility and energetic colors.

ILLUSTRATIONS FOR ENAMEL MUGS

As a freelance illustrator and graphic designer, I was commissioned to create illustrations for Tanum Bookstore’s enamel mugs. This assignment was part of a merchandise collection sold in Tanum’s stores in Oslo as well as at their locations in Norwegian airports.

The aim of the design was to capture the essence of local culture and identity through visual expression. Each illustration includes elements and dialect expressions that highlight the uniqueness of each location, so that each cup served not only as an object of use, but also as a memory of the place it represents.

In addition, a small series of cups was developed and sold at Christmas.

PATTERN DESIGN FOR SUNSCREEN

For Tinkafu, a leading supplier of stroller accessories, I was engaged to design a triangle pattern for their classic and popular sunshades. Tinkafu's sunshades are well known for their functionality and quality, and the goal with this design was to add more design variations but maintain the high quality of the product.

The new pattern, consisting of colorful and playful triangles, gives the sunshade a fresh and modern look.

MOOMIN PATTERN DESIGN

In collaboration with Stofflykke, a well-known retailer specializing in fabrics sold by the yard, I had the opportunity to design a series of exclusive pattern designs featuring the beloved Moomin characters. The project required a careful balance between preserving the classic look of the Moomins while allowing my own style to shine through.

In this project, I worked with licensed characters, which is both challenging and incredibly fun. The patterns I designed are colorful, playful, and charming, perfect for a wide range of sewing projects for both Moomin fans and sewing enthusiasts alike.
