FLORAL ILLUSTRATIONS

Here you´ll find a selection of my floral illustrations, made with both digital tools such as Procreate and Illustrator, as well as analogue techniques such as gouache, watercolour, colored pencils and acrylic paint.

I love experimenting with different styles and supplies, which gives each illustration its own unique character. The collection of floral illustrations includes everything from lively bouquets to simple, delicate flowers, all colorful and energetic in my own style.

ILLUSTRATION FRIENDSHIP

This illustration captures a moment of calm and friendship, with two girls sitting together enjoying the magnificent view of the fjord in Vågå, Norway. Made with gouache and luminance colored pencils, the illustration brings out the lush nature and the deep, calm fjord that stretches between the mountains.

The girls sit close together on the rocks by the water's edge, and their colorful clothes create a nice contrast to the green and blue tones of the nature. The houses scattered across the landscape in the background give life to the illustration, and the small details in the vegetation by the water add that little extra life and colour.

CHRISTMAS ILLUSTRATIONS

My Christmas illustrations are created with the love for the christmas holiday and everything that goes with it. These illustrations combine traditional colors, playfulness and details, perfect for bringing joy and celebration into homes and hearts. Inspired by the beauty of nature and the magic of the holidays, the illustrations capture everything from playful animals in the winter forest to cozy Christmas decorations.

My mediums are gouache, watercolor and digital techniques in Procreate and Illustrator. The illustrations are ideal for Christmas cards, wrapping paper and bags and more, and appeal to both young and old who love to embrace the atmosphere and coziness of Christmas.

ILLUSTRATION BIRTHDAY PARTY

This cute illustration is inspired by my son's 7th birthday, where we celebrated in the forest with pinetrees and woodland animals as a theme. The illustration perfectly captures his imagination. At the table, decorated with a glowing chain and branches, sits a happy boy with a big smile, surrounded by his faithful friends, the teddy bear, the rabbit and a small fish (that steals soda from the teddy bear). They are all ready to have a party with birthday hats, popcorn and sweet cupcakes.

For this illustration I've used watercolours, gouache and luminance colored pencils to create a vibrant and colorful illustration that gives a feeling of joy and magic. The green tones in the background emphasize the forest's slightly mysterious and adventurous atmosphere, while the warm colors of the table and gifts provide a nice contrast and a feeling of warmth and coziness. This illustration is a tribute to childrens imagination and the simple joys of celebrating your birthday with good friends, both real and imaginary.

CHRISTMAS PRODUCTS FOR CRAFTS

I've had the pleasure of working with Panduro Hobby over a long period of time, where I have illustrated and designed a varied range of their products for scrapbooking and card making. These products were part of larger, coordinated series that included stickers, paper, washi tape and other embellishments.

I have been responsible for everything from concept development, color pallettes to the design of the product itself. I also designed the packaging for the products. I have ensured that each element harmonizes with the other products in the series, which constitute inspiring products for hobby enthusiasts.

My projects for Panduro Hobby are a good example of how I combine my passion for detailed illustration with functional and aesthetic design. I see the great importance of creating products that are not only visually appealing, but also practical and user-friendly. Through this collaboration, I have been given the opportunity to develop creative and colorful solutions that inspire customers all over Scandinavia.

ILLUSTRATIONS AND JOURNAL ACCESSORIES

I've had the pleasure of working with Panduro Hobby over a longer period, where I have, among other things, illustrated and designed a selection of their creative journals. ILLUSTRATION FOR BOOK COVER

I had the pleasure of working with Fjellflyt on a book cover for a planner, inspired by nature and its calming influence. The project, called "Book Temptation", was an exciting opportunity to combine my colorful art with nature.

Fjellflyt wanted a cover that captured the feeling of longing for the mountains. Their specific wishes included a colorful drawing with elements such as mountain flora, and colors that reflects the clear mountain water. I used the colors from the plants gorse, goitrams, and other fantasy flowers and leaves to create a harmonious and calm illustration.

I used a combination of gouache and watercolor paint on paper, as well as Procreate, to achieve the desired result. After a few conversations and feedback from the client, I fine-tuned the design to ensure it matched their vision. The final book cover was a nice combination of nature's calm and energetic colours.

ILLUSTRASTIONS FOR ENAMEL MUGS

As a freelance illustrator and graphic designer, I was commissioned to design illustrations for Tanum Bokhandel's enamel cups. This assignment was part of a merchandise series that was sold in Tanum's stores in Oslo and at their locations at Norwegian airports.

The aim of the design was to capture the essence of local culture and identity through visual expression. Each illustration includes elements and dialect expressions that emphasize the uniqueness of each location, so that each cup served not only as a utility object, but also as a memory of the place it represents.

In addition, a small series of enamel mugs was developed and sold at Christmas.
