ILLUSTRATIONS WITH FLOWERS

Here you'll find a selection of my flower-themed illustrations, created with both digital tools such as Procreate and Illustrator, as well as analog techniques such as gouache, watercolor, colored pencils and acrylic paint.

I love experimenting with different styles and mediums, giving each illustration its own unique character. The collection includes everything from vibrant bouquets to simple, delicate flowers, and all colorful and energetic in my own style.

ILLUSTRATION FRIENDSHIP

This illustration captures a quiet moment of calm and friendship, featuring two girls sitting together and enjoying the breathtaking view over the fjord in Vågå. Created with gouache and Luminance colored pencils, the illustration highlights the lush landscape and the deep, tranquil fjord stretching between the mountains.

The girls sit close together on the rocks by the water’s edge, their colorful clothing creating a beautiful contrast against the greens and blues of the surrounding landscape. The scattered houses in the background bring a sense of life to the scene, while the small details in the vegetation along the shoreline add an extra touch of vibrancy and depth.

CHRISTMAS ILLUSTRATIONS

My Christmas illustrations are created with a love for the holiday season and everything that goes with it. These works combine traditional colors, playfulness and details, perfect for bringing joy and festive spirit into homes and hearts. Inspired by the beauty of nature and the magic of the holidays, the illustrations capture everything from playful animals in winter forests to cozy Christmas decorations.

My media are gouache, watercolor and digital techniques in Procreate and Illustrator. The illustrations are ideal for Christmas cards, wrapping paper, bags and more, appealing to both young people and adults who love to embrace the mood and coziness of Christmas.

The illustrations are available for sale or licensing.

ILLUSTRATION BIRTHDAY PARTY

This delightful illustration is inspired by my son’s 7th birthday, which we celebrated in the forest with a woodland and forest animals theme. The illustration captures his imagination and sense of adventure perfectly. At the table, decorated with glowing string lights and evergreen branches, sits a happy boy with a wide smile, surrounded by his faithful teddy bear, a sweet little rabbit, and a mischievous fish sneaking juice from the teddy. All are ready to celebrate, wearing party hats and enjoying popcorn and delicious cupcakes.

I used watercolor, gouache, and Luminance colored pencils to create a vibrant and colorful illustration that radiates joy and magic. The green tones in the background enhance the forest’s slightly mysterious, fairytale-like atmosphere, while the warm colors of the table and gifts create a lovely contrast and a sense of warmth and coziness. This illustration is a celebration of childlike imagination and the simple joy of celebrating a birthday with good friends, both real and imaginary.

CHRISTMAS PRODUCTS

I've had the pleasure of working with Panduro Hobby for a long time, where I've illustrated and designed a varied selection of their products for scrapbooking and card making. The products I'm showing here are designed specifically with Christmas in mind and all the products are made in larger, coordinated series that included stickers, paper, washi tape and other embellishments.

In the design process, I've been responsible for everything from concept development and color selection to the design of the product itself, as well as packaging and packaging design. I have worked carefully to ensure that each element harmonizes with the other products in the range, creating an inspiring and holistic experience for hobby enthusiasts.

My projects for Panduro Hobby are a good example of how I combine my passion for detailed illustration with functional and aesthetic design. I place great emphasis on creating products that are not only visually appealing, but also practical and user-friendly. Through this collaboration, I have had the opportunity to develop creative and colorful solutions that delight and inspire customers.

ILLUSTRATION FOR BOOK COVER

I had the pleasure of working with Fjellflyt on a book cover for a planner, inspired by nature and its calming influence. The project, called «Bokfreisting», was an exciting opportunity to combine colorful art with nature.

Fjellflyt wanted a cover that captured the feeling of longing for the mountains. Their specific wishes included a colorful drawing with elements such as mountain flora, and colors that reflect glacier water. I used the colors of mountain heather, goat's rue, dog biscuit, and other fantasy flowers and leaves to create a harmonious and calm illustration.

I used a combination of gouache and watercolor paint on paper, as well as Procreate, to achieve the desired result. After a few conversations and feedback from the client, I fine-tuned the design to make sure it matched their vision. The final book cover was a nice combination of nature's tranquility and energetic colors.

ILLUSTRATIONS FOR ENAMEL MUGS

As a freelance illustrator and graphic designer, I was commissioned to create illustrations for Tanum Bookstore’s enamel mugs. This assignment was part of a merchandise collection sold in Tanum’s stores in Oslo as well as at their locations in Norwegian airports.

The aim of the design was to capture the essence of local culture and identity through visual expression. Each illustration includes elements and dialect expressions that highlight the uniqueness of each location, so that each cup served not only as an object of use, but also as a memory of the place it represents.

In addition, a small series of cups was developed and sold at Christmas.
